IT Support Specialist - device setup (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Clear Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Anchorage, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
