IT Support Specialist - device setup (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Thistle Insurance Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
