IT Support Specialist - device setup (Albuquerque, NM)

Fernwood Field Community Partners runs community programmes across Albuquerque. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
