IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Wichita, KS)

Fernwood Yarrow Foods is a Wichita food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
