IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Oak Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for school partnerships, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
