IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Virginia Beach, VA)

Greenridge Fox Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Virginia Beach area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Families are partners. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
