IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Toledo, OH)

Nova Oak Foods Associates is a Toledo food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
