IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Toledo, OH)

Redstone Granite Construction is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
