IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Tampa, FL)

Bluepeak Union Facilities is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for contractor visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 965 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
