IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (St. Louis, MO)

Stonegate West Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around St. Louis, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 182 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
