IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (San Jose, CA)

Bluepeak Oak Hospitality is a hospitality company in San Jose with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
