IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Rowan Foods Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 935 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
