IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (San Diego, CA)

Nova Harbor Telecom is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
