IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (San Diego, CA)

Amberfield Forge Arts Center is an arts centre in San Diego with a full calendar of events. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
