IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (San Diego, CA)

Cedar Nest Staffing is a San Diego staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with retention. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
