IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Lakeside Environmental Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
