IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Salt Lake City, UT)

Northwind Nest Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Salt Lake City region, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
