IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Linden Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Salt Lake City. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with group events. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
