IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Salt Lake City, UT)

Nova Birch Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Salt Lake City, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
