IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Quarry Telecom and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. We invest in training. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
