IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Salt Lake City, UT)

Greenridge West Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Salt Lake City. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
