IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Summit Quarry Telecom Partners and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 155 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
