IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Labs and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with card disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
