IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Juniper Freight and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 353 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
