IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Reno, NV)

Redstone Keystone Energy is an energy provider in Reno focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 182 people based in Reno. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
