IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Reno, NV)

Bright Iron Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Reno. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
