IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Stonegate Rook Community Partners is a Charlotte charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
