IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Greenridge Maple Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for candidate screening, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with candidate screening. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
