IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Clearpath Hollow Freight Group is a Virginia Beach logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
