IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Amberfield Beacon Community Partners is a nonprofit in Honolulu supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
