IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Westbrook Iron Insurance Partners is an insurance company in Boise with claims and service teams, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 916 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
