IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Lumen Cedar Legal Group Partners is a law firm in Madison serving businesses and individuals, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with document review. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
