IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Greenridge Thistle Insurance is an insurance company in Indianapolis with claims and service teams. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
