IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Bluepeak Granite Community Partners is a Toledo charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
