IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Fernwood Kestrel Financial Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
