IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Rivermark Sparrow Energy Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
