IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Pine Financial and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
