IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Cedar Field Markets serves neighbourhoods around San Jose with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
