IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Foxglove Amber Manufacturing makes precision components in Orlando. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
