IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Redstone Maple Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
