IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Harbor Energy and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
