IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Summit Quarry Telecom Partners is a telecommunications provider in Sacramento focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
