IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Ironwood Cross Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for volunteer programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
