IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Ironwood Cross Hospitality is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with food costs. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
