IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Fernwood Orchard Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
