IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Lumen Union Civic Services Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for budget submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
