IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Lumen Summit Learning Group Partners runs classrooms and tutoring across the Chicago area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
