IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Greenridge Timber Construction is a Fresno contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
