IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Silverline Yarrow Energy is an energy provider in Charleston focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
