IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Greenridge Umber Facilities is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for supply orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 450 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
